Activities
The following activities we have undertaken for the betterment of the student fraternity
Investor Awareness Programmes (Physical and Webinars):-
The main objective of Investor awareness programme is to give knowledge about the practical working of stock market. We also cover the topics like stock market, mutual funds, RBI monetary policy, Derivatives market, Gold as an Asset class apart from Indian Economy and World Economy. During the lecture practical terminal is shown and also important websites about stock market, sip calculator are shown to students. Those who cannot attend physical sessions for them, we also arrange webinars so that even working persons on weekends can attend and take practical knowledge.
Study visits:-
The objective of study visits is to give experience to the students about the stock market working and giving them feel about the real life scenarios. We take them visit to BSE Building and show them trading terminals, SIP calculator and give them practical exposure. This gives them actual exposure to the real life aspects. Our speakers clear all the doubts regarding investments and queries. The lecture will also cover overview of all financial products like Equity, Mutual Funds, FD, Bonds, Gold and Property etc.
Faculty Development Programmes:-
We have been conducting Faculty Development programme for various college faculties on important topics like Current Scenario, Global Economy, Indian Economy on Cross Roads etc. The objective here is to give practical knowledge to large number of faculties since the faculties will be the key point for sharing practical knowledge to the students at large. Today there is huge gap between the theoretical knowledge and practical implementation and this gap we are trying to fill with our experienced faculties. Our faculties have also been invited as speakers in the Refresher Course conducted by Mumbai University for their faculties.
Internship for the students:-
Internship for Students is for around 30 hours during which we give them knowledge about various aspects of stock market including practical exposure to trading terminal and also technical analysis. Visit is also arranged to BSE which would give them practical know how and thus make them more practical oriented. Apart from this 30 hour internship, we also provide office work based internship which gives them complete idea about the working of the office environment and also exposure to accounts, events, database management etc.
